VISION COUNCIL AND VISION FTZ ANNUAL MEETING

OFFICIAL NOTICE

The Annual Membership Meeting of Vision Council, Inc. and Vision Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ), Inc. will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, February 8, 2008 at the Capri Restaurant, 935 North Krome Avenue (177th Avenue), Florida City, Florida )please see map below for directions).  Invitations have been sent out to all current Vision Council members.  Please allot at least two hours for the meeting.

The Bylaws stipulate the membership will accomplish the following items at this meeting:

1. Elect members of the Board of Directors.

There are three directors whose terms expire this year – Steve Shiver, Tom Jones and Dale Blake. All have volunteered to return to the Board and have been so nominated by the Nomination Committee. No other nominations have been received in response to our solicitations. Nominations from the floor will be accepted.

2. Review and ratify the membership classifications and dues.

3. Ratify any amendments to the organizational Bylaws approved by the Board of Directors during the previous year. (None at this time.)

Attendance is limited to the member organizations that comprise Vision Council, Inc. and Vision Foreign FTZ, Inc. However, member organizations are encouraged to bring multiple representatives to the meeting and to sponsor representatives from potential new member firms.

Lunch will be provided free of charge for Board members (elected and ex-officio) and one designated voting representative from the rest of the member organizations. Meals will be available to other attendees at our cost – approximately $15.00 including tax and tip.
